Licensing Information

The website acts as a picture library, ordering image licences for use in most aspects of both editorial and advertising print, for general advertising and for use in visual media. To do this simply find the image you desire via the portfolio section then press the "licence image" button. You will then be taken through a series of simple steps to licence the image, which will then be emailed, sent on a CD or downloaded.

You can order individual or multiple licences at the same time.

The guide asks you the type of licence you require for each image eg: editorial print, cd cover, exhibition display, and where relevant the size of reproduction and/or the number of copies you require . The price for the licence will then be calculated automatically. If you wish to proceed you can do so by either paying by credit card or by setting up an account with us and ordering the image for later invoicing.

Special Order Licences

Some images are only available for license by special order. Where this is the case you will be informed of this when you click the "licence details" button for that image. Such images may not be available to license in all areas. If you are interested in a Special Order Licence for such an image please contact us directly with respect to your request, noting the information identified below in the section "Ordering Licences Manually". Alternatively please feel free to contact us by phone in the first instance.

Special Licence Requirements

Should you have special licence requirements or require an image in a very high resolution or a special format you should contact us with the relevant information identified in the section title "Ordering Licences Manually".

Please note that if you set up an account with us you will be eligible to an immediate 10% discount on all products on the site.

Ordering Licences Manually

If you prefer to place an order for an image licence manually please follow the following guidelines so we can offer you a quote. Orders can be placed by post or via email and if you have any queries please feel free to contact us by phone.

With your order, please provide responses to ALL of the following information to allow us to process your order.

  • your full name
  • company name (if applicable)
  • address, including postcode/zip and country
  • the photo(s) you wish to license
  • the nature of the licence you require - this should include

Once you have sent us the relevant information we will contact you with a quote (or if necessary any other information that is required) for your consideration. Upon acceptance of the quote and receipt of payment you will be sent the image via email (larger images may have to be sent on a cd).
